With the unwavering support of my wife and young children, we began the practice of Orme Family Dentistry in 2007. My focus has always centered on patient satisfaction and personalized care. It is an honor and privilege to be your dentist!
Personal bio:
I grew up in a large Forest Service family. My father was a talented University of Idaho graduate with degrees in Forestry and Wildlife Biology. His position required that we uproot and move often. I was born in a small logging town in north Idaho called St. Maries. In the years that followed, there were multiple stops along the way including a 5- year stint in Juneau, Alaska. Eventually our permanent residence was in St. Anthony, Idaho.
South Fremont high school Spanish class is where I met my partner in crime and future wife Alder. We became inseparable and enjoyed many of the same hobbies. Skiing, horseback riding, and large camping groups were staples at that time in life. We married 2 short years after she graduated.
During high school I was fortunate to have a relationship with my family dentist that led to a career in dentistry. He was a very kind and generous person that was a great role model for many future dentists.
I graduated from Idaho State University in 2003 with a bachelor degree in Biology. From there it was off to dental school at The Ohio State University. Shortly after graduation in June 2007, I started a new practice in Dillon, Montana. That was a great place to learn the profession and reconnect with the great outdoors for the 9 years we called Montana home. Coming back to Idaho in 2016 has been very gratifying for Alder, myself, and our three boys.
The practice of dentistry is complex and requires a steady hand...figuratively and literally. I’ve also observed that the best outcomes happen when we have the patients' trust and confidence. Those are ideals I never want to take for granted. I’ve dedicated extensive time and resources to create a dental practice that is conscientious, and patient centered with expertise in implants, root canals and extractions. Some relaxing options for dental work are nitrous-oxide, oral sedation, IV sedation, or visiting a nearby surgery center for general anesthesia. I want your experience to be memorable for all the right reasons! When our family has free time, we are fanatical skiers. We sprinkle in some fishing, hunting, and biking.
I look forward to meeting you and working with you and your loved ones! I’m confident our incredible dental team will provide you with the exceptional dental care that you deserve.
